The holiday season is upon us and working moms are faced with juggling additional tasks to make the season enjoyable for their families. Here are three tips to help make the holiday season enjoyable for moms too!
1) Share the holiday workload, both planning and executing, to give yourself a physical and mental break.
2) Outsource or delegate some tasks as possible. Pay cleaners to clean your home, buy some dishes from your favorite restaurants or try catering.
3) For stressors out of your control, positively reframe the situation. For example, if you don’t get along with your in-laws and they are coming for holiday dinner, reframe the situation by appreciating how your children get to spend quality time with other family members.
Holiday burnout is real for working moms. Try to take as much off your plate as possible because moms deserve to enjoy the holidays as well.
